PENERAPAN METODE PENEMUAN (DISCOVERY ) DENGAN PENDEKATAN BASED ON PROBLEMS MATERI: TRIGONOMETRI MENINGKATAKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Abstract


Various methods and approach of teaching are applied by the teacher so that the Mathematics learning program grows and develops optimally and students can do learning activities effectively and efficiently. Therefore the learning process of mathematics has to be apply by discovery method with the approach of based on problems, so that it can facilitate students to be able to overcome their problems given by the teacher, especially Trigonometry material. It is a suitable method and approach for achieving the target learning objectives. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) uses 2 cycles. In accordance with the data of the students' scores in the first cycle, it is known that the final grade classically is 63, still below the specified KKM. The researcher continnued her study on the second cycle. The results show on the cycle 2 that the activity of students are 17 students in the learning process reached 83.33%, so that it can be concluded that the ability of students to overcome the problems of Mathematics Trigenometry material can achieved the KKM score successfully.Their learning’outcomes of Mathematic have increased significantly.
